The artistic heritage of the Calabria region, significantly undermined in its entirety and integrity by dispersions and natural disasters, is made up of fragments of a history that does not always follow a canonical development, and on the other hand, that it is clearly conscious that there were many artists from this land who made his name glorious thanks to their famous masterpieces.

The objective that the PIC proposes to make stimulating the approach to these cultural heritage assets is the cataloguing, restoration and planning of information systems and multimedia technologies capable of responding to the request for new forms of conservation and to be used in order to preserve and transmission the Calabrian cultural heritage history to the most varied types of visitors and scholars.
